Behaviour Based Safety BBS

Behaviour Based Safety BBS

Introduction

Behaviour Based Safety ( BBS) is a program to positively reinforce safe practices by proactively identifying unsafe behavioural patterns in workers and ensuring timely interventions are in place to continuously encourage individuals or groups to conform to EHS best practices. BBS focuses on reducing hazards, risks, and incidents by observing a person’s behaviour and determining what follows when this behaviour occurs. It involves analysing the consequences of a particular behaviour and providing proper reinforcement for a desired behaviour.
